QVP Verification for Saudi Arabia from the UK

Some Saudi work visas need your qualifications or work experience checked through the Qualification Verification Programme (QVP). We confirm whether QVP applies to your role, prepare your documents and submit the application, with or without a Bachelor's degree.

What we do for you

  • Check your job title and visa block to see if QVP applies
  • Advise on the degree or experience route
  • A document checklist for your profession
  • Review of experience letters before submission
  • Prepare and submit the QVP application
  • Updates by email, phone and WhatsApp

Also available

  • Additional experience letters: priced on request
  • Full Saudi Work Visa package for £1,225, including QVP where it applies

Check before you pay. QVP depends on your Saudi occupation and visa category, so not every applicant needs it. Some roles need Mosadaqa or the Skills Verification Program (SVP) instead. We confirm your route first.

What is QVP?

The Qualification Verification Programme checks that a worker’s qualifications and experience fit the profession they’re being sponsored for in Saudi Arabia. It’s one of several verification routes for a Saudi work visa, and which one applies depends on the job title on your visa block.

What it checksWhen it applies
QVPYour qualification and/or professional experience against the intended professionCertain professions and visa categories
MosadaqaYour Bachelor’s degree, attested by the Saudi Cultural Bureau in LondonWhere your occupation requires academic attestation
SVPPractical skills for certain skilled and technical occupationsCovered occupations; may replace QVP and Mosadaqa

QVP and Mosadaqa are separate processes and are not automatically needed together. Business owners sponsoring themselves should see the Investor Work Visa, which needs QVP but not Mosadaqa.

With or without a degree

Degree route

Using your qualification

  • Submit the qualification most relevant to the sponsored role
  • A transcript may be requested
  • Work experience can also count, depending on the profession
  • A Master’s degree may be used if you don’t hold a Bachelor’s, provided it’s relevant and can be verified
  • Online degrees may be considered if the institution is recognised and the degree can be verified
Experience route

Using your work history

For some occupations, professional experience can be assessed instead of, or alongside, a degree. It isn’t guaranteed to be accepted, so we review your profession first.

Each experience letter should show: the employer’s name and contact details, your job title, start and end dates, your main duties, and an authorised signature.

The exact list depends on your profession and route. We send you a tailored checklist after the first review.

You get a document list specific to your profession and route.

  3. Application Our team

We prepare and submit your QVP application once your documents are ready.

  4. Verification Saudi authorities

Your qualification and/or experience is assessed. This usually takes 3–6 weeks.

  5. Next visa steps Our team

Once verified, we can continue with your medical, FCDO legalisation and Tasheer appointment.

Why QVP applications are refused

  • The qualification can’t be verified
  • The qualification doesn’t suit the sponsored profession
  • Work experience doesn’t match the role closely enough
  • Information supplied can’t be confirmed

How we reduce the risk

We match your qualification and experience to the job title on your visa block before anything is submitted, and check experience letters for missing details. The final decision rests with the Saudi authorities.

Frequently asked questions

What is QVP verification for Saudi Arabia?
The Qualification Verification Programme checks that a worker’s qualifications and experience suit the profession they’re being sponsored for. It applies to some Saudi work visas, depending on the occupation and visa category.
Do I need QVP for my Saudi work visa?
Not necessarily. It depends on your occupation, visa category and current Saudi rules. Some roles need Mosadaqa or SVP instead. Send us your job title and visa block details and we’ll confirm.
How much does QVP cost?
£350 for one qualification or an experience-based application. Additional experience letters are priced on request. QVP is included in our £1,225 Saudi Work Visa package where it applies.
How long does QVP take?
Usually 3–6 weeks, depending on your profession and how quickly qualifications and experience can be verified. We can’t speed up the authorities’ review, so start early.
Can I apply without a Bachelor’s degree?
Possibly. For some professions, work experience can be assessed instead of a degree, and a Master’s may be used if you don’t hold a Bachelor’s. Acceptance isn’t guaranteed, so we review your case first.
Can I use an online degree?
An online degree may be considered if it’s from a recognised institution, can be verified and suits the profession. Note that Mosadaqa generally doesn’t accept online degrees, so check which route applies to you.
What documents do I need?
Typically your passport, the degree being verified, a transcript if requested, experience letters if relevant, your Saudi job offer or contract, and your visa block and job title details. Not everyone needs every item.
Is QVP the same as Mosadaqa?
No. QVP checks qualifications and experience against a profession. Mosadaqa is the attestation of your Bachelor’s degree by the Saudi Cultural Bureau in London. They’re separate and not always both required.
Can my QVP application be refused?
Yes, if the qualification can’t be verified or your qualifications and experience don’t match the profession. We check the match before submitting, but the decision rests with the Saudi authorities.
Can you handle the rest of my Saudi work visa?
Yes. Our £1,225 Saudi Work Visa package covers the applicable verification, medical in London, FCDO legalisation, Tasheer biometrics and visa processing.
